Basic Guided tour

Visitors will go through the Johannes adit, enter the smaller chamber, see the flooded shaft at the chamber dug for the Silver Vein, and will view the main attraction – the large chamber, including the shaft; then they will return to the surface via the Johannes adit. Then the visitor will climb to the building with a windlass; then they will return to the service building.
The tour lasts about 1,5–2 hours, depending on number of visitors. Time for renting and returning the equipment is included. The tour itself lasts about 1 hour. Caution! The ascend from the service building to the Johannes adit takes 10–15 minutes! Maximum number of visitors (people) in one tour is 12.

There visitors will climb up the ladders, then they will walk through a labyrinth of mutualy joint chambers (again on the ladders). Here, visitors can try to crawl through a low corridor. When the underground tour has finished, visitors will return to the surface by climbing a wooden ladder in the shaft (approximately 40 metres). At the mouth of the adit, visitors will examine a hand-operated windlass and then will return to the service building.
The tour lasts about 2,5–4 hours, depending on the number of vistors. The time for renting and returning the equipment is included. The tour itself lasts about 2–2,5 hours. Caution! The ascend from the servise building to the Johannes adit takes 10–15 minutes! Maximum number of visitors (people) in one tour is 10.


In the shaft there are information boards and figurines of working miners. After exiting the underground visitors can also admire a replica of the historic mining equipment, called windlass, which can be reached by the forest path through a listed skarn field (15–20 minutes). ). Along the forest paths you return to the service house (20–25 minutes).
